Happy 2006!

Well, here we are 1 year into my goal of keeping everyone updated via this blog. Needless to say, my updates have been sporadic at best. This past year has been filled with amazing highs and some fairly stressful lows. I think we have emerged from this stronger and more able to adapt to this ever changing task of raising 2 unique girls.

We have had loads of events since our last update in early November contributing to the delay in giving all 2 of our readers an update! Morgan has had this crazy idea that Holidays are to be spent in the Hospital. Silly girl. True to form, during a Doc visit the day before Thanksgiving, Morgan's O2 levels crashed and off we went to the ER. Perfect timing considering the Adrien clan was visiting for Thanksgiving. Morgan stabilized and was able to come home on Thanksgiving evening. Certainly giving us all something to be thankful for. We had a GREAT time with the family here, even Uncle Chris made it for the Holiday! Loads of pictures of the week can be found here.

After this great visit, Morgan decided at midnight the day everyone departed that it was time to crash yet again. Another 911 call and ride to the Hospital for Jill and Mo followed by a several night stay. Reason, who knows. She managed to be at home for both Christmas and New Years, though she was home from daycare the whole week between the two. Reason, who knows! Basically we have learned that she will catch every cold that she comes across and these will likely knock her out. Imagine not being able to clear your throat of all the "drainage" when you are sick. No thanks!

The picture below is from a few days ago, shirt courtesy of Grampy. I have more pictures of the girls from the Holidays which will be posted once I find them.

Wishing all of you the very best for 2006!
