Smelly Christmas to All...

And to all a gross night! Well, this is our new Christmas slogan from the "Shrek the Halls" Christmas special. Morgan watches it several times a day (if we let her)! We have all been very busy getting the house ready for Christmas. We won't be here on Christmas, but we love getting everything ready. We are planning on celebrating two Christmas'. We will do one with Craig's family in Cincinnati on Christmas and then we will have our second round when we get back home with our gifts from my side of the family. Those of you who won't get to visit us over the holidays, I've taken some pictures of our house so you can enjoy it with us.

Kaylee is staying very busy. She is now done with her acting class and you will see pictures from her final performance as a chicken. She had a good time, but is asking to take art classes for her next project. Right now she is a Girl Scout Brownie. She is enjoying it and has a small troop with just 3 other girls. They were able to participate in our local Christmas parade last weekend. Everyone had a good time in the 70 degree weather. We are also taking preorders for Girl Scout Cookies. They will be available in January. I am willing to ship to Oregon. :)Kaylee also had one other birthday party with two of her friends from school. They had a great time and you can see them playing in the pictures.

Morgan has been her funny little self. In a few of the pictures you might notice that Morgan sitting at the dinner table. Look a little closer at her bracelet (the one made out of bread). She is walking/running all over the place now. Her therapist is very happy with her progress. She enjoys spending time with her friends at the YMCA and is looking forward to going to school. One of her favorite sayings is "I have a question for you." When you answer back "What is your question?". She says "When I grow big and strong, I go to school when I'm 5 years old!". She is very excited about going to school. She is eagerly anticipating Christmas this year. I hope she is not too disappointed as she has asked for every single thing that she has seen on commercials on TV.

I've been busy working on some crafts for Christmas and holiday baking. I made eggnog bread and Gingerbread cookies during the first week of December to give out to all those people you should give gifts to, but don't know what to get (teachers, therapists, etc.). You will see a few pictures of Morgan and I making the Gingerbread cookies. I was very excited about them, as they came out as close to my Grandma Irene's as I have ever made them. One of my craft projects will have to remain a secret until after the holidays as it is a gift for my family. More details in the future! Today, I made some bows for Morgan's hair for a Christmas present. They turned out so well that I took pictures of them for ya'll to see. :) I looked up some directions online and was able to put these together in just over an hour. Not too shabby, huh?

Well, I better get going as I only have one gift for Craig.

Merry Christmas!!!
