Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. We had a great holiday, but are ready for things to get back to a routine for the first of the year. For Christmas this year we drove up to Cincinnati to spend the holidays with all of Craig's family. We all stayed with Craig's brother Chris in his new house. His house is a great size for entertaining and giving all of us enough space. We had a really great time while we were there. We also got to spend some time visiting with our friends, Andy and Molly. The girls and I had lunch with a friend of mine that I used to work with when I lived in Cincinnati (11 years ago!). The girls had a great Christmas. Kaylee got a Nintendo DS, several games for it and a case to hold it. Morgan got a Baby Alive. She was very excited, but we have yet to actually feed the thing and see it go to the bathroom. I was saving that expirement until we got home.

We drove home from Cincinnati on Saturday, Dec. 29th and when we got home we acted like it was Christmas Eve! We woke up on Sunday and opened all the presents from my family and some of the gifts we got for the girls and each other. It was a nice way to have Christmas last almost a whole week. We all got lots of great gifts and had a great time. I think the girls are looking forward to being home next year for Christmas so it looks like we will try to plan a Christmas in Oregon in 2009. Sounds far away but will probably be here before we know it. I guess I was in charge of pictures for Christmas this year so there aren't as many as you might be used to, but some of them are really cute.

Wishing you all the best in 2008!
