One day at a time.

How time flies! Morgan has been doing well since she came home on Feb 18th. We did have a brief scare the following week, resulting in the 3 of us spending 7 hours in the ER. ER Doc said Morgan had pneumonia, but was not acting like it. Next day we visited her pulmonary Doc who said she had caught rotavirus and was handling it better than any other patient he had seen. Good news! She recovered from that and has been making great progress since. She is gaining more head control every day and has been supporting herself in more upright sitting positions. 19 pounds and doing well. Hopefully her surgery this week will not set her back too far. Tuesday at 7:30am Morgan goes in for her Nissen. This surgery will be laparoscopic, and assuming all goes as planned, she will only need a few days recovery. Please keep her in your thoughts.
