House Update

The house is really starting to come together now. As of November 1st, all the hardwoods are in as is the vinyl floor in the bathrooms and laundry room upstairs. All trim work has been completed and the first round of paint has been done. All cabinets and countertops are in. Yesterday all of the lights, switches and outlet covers were installed. Today, the most exciting thing was put in.... THE TOILETS!!! The supervisor told Craig last week that his final date to have the house complete is November 22nd. That is only 21 days away!! Then they will do their walkthrough and correct any mistakes/problems. Then we will do our walkthrough and they have about a week to correct anything we ask for and then we will sign papers and be ready to move. We have picked several of the colors of paint that we want to use, so we can get that work done before we actually move in. In a previous post I mentioned we were looking at two different Devine colors for the main living areas. Well, we finally decided on a third color, Birch. We picked our bedroom color and purchased our new bedroom set just last weekend. I bought a new duvet cover and sheets to match just today. Once we get all these rooms put together, I'll post pictures. Hopefully they turn out as good as I see them in my mind.
