Happy Halloween

The girls experienced their first Halloween in South Carolina, which means warm and dry! The daytime temperature was about 75 degrees on Halloween, so it was a very nice evening. They did not have to wear coats over their costumes. Morgan was dressed as a Butterfly Faerie and Kaylee was a Queen. She has moved up in royalty and is no longer a princess. This was the first year for Morgan to Trick or Treat. We decided to Trick or Treat in our new neighborhood. We had a great time and Grammy and Grampy were able to join us too. We met several of our new neighbors. We learned that many of the people in Churchill Falls are from out of town. There are several people from Florida and one person from Chehalis, Washington! Isn't that great? Someone from the Northwest! We have a good mix in the neighborhood of young families and older couples. Everyone was very nice and friendly and we are looking forward to being part of the group.

One of the additions that I bought for Kaylee's costume was a blond wig as she originally wanted to be Sleeping Beauty. As we did not want to relive the green hair of Cinderella from last year, I thought the wig was a better idea. However, Kaylee did not like the wig so she would not wear it with her costume. The upside is that Morgan loves the wig and looks great in it!
