Where have we been.........

What a busy couple weeks! Morgan came home on March 2nd after almost 4 weeks in the NICU. We have been very busy learning how to move Morgan around the house with her monitors and oxygen always connected. I refer to these events as "starting the Morgan train" because it usually takes 2 people to move her and all her stuff. I asked my mom to come to town to help us out and am very glad I did as she was a big help with Morgan and Kaylee. Plus, she changed a few diapers I wanted no part of!

Morgan has continued to improve. Her weight gain is good, now nearly 7lbs, and her strength seems to be getting better. We have had several follow-up appointments already and the docs feel she is doing well. This week we begin to decrease her oxygen and see how she handles it. Wish us luck. The 6 green oxygen tanks really do not fit well with our decor and I want them out of the house! I will update this blog more frequently now as things seem to have settled a bit.
