How do you like me now!

Morgan is doing a bit better now, she seems to be able to breathe much easier than in previous months. Video is from this evening. She is still working on getting her voice back to full strength, but all things considered she is doing well. We are quite surprised, as are her therapists, how quickly she has returned to her pre-hospitilization routine. Now to keep her strong and healthy. Wish us luck. Loads of pictures of Morgan and Kaylee. Just click on their names.

Happy Birthday

Morgan spent her 1st birthday in the ICU though she was awake for a while and did try to open some presents. The ICU staff was wonderful, giving her a couple gifts and decorations for the room. Not the ideal place to spend a birthday, but good nonetheless. Last Monday Morgan was moved out of the ICU only to return on Tuesday with breathing issues again. She is not strong enough to take deep breaths, so her lungs have a hard time staying open. She is not on the a ventilator any longer, but a bipap maching is assisting her breathing and keeping her lungs from collapsing. They should start reducing her time on bipap soon.

Picture below is from today, click on the picture to see some from her birthday and more.
