Another musical genius???

As you can see from the video above our family now has two very talented musicians. I was standing in a different room than Morgan the other day when I heard the recorder (or as we like to call it, Whistle) being played. Kaylee was at school so it took me a few minutes to register that it was Morgan playing. She had picked up the whistle and started playing without any help. I was very impressed. You can click on Morgan's name below to see a longer movie and more pictures of her playing the whistle.

The house is progressing very well. It is basically done now. The builder is putting together their punch list of things that need to be fixed and they will have that complete on December 5th. On that day Craig and I will do a walkthrough and create a new punch list for anything that we feel needs to be corrected. The builder then has 7 days to get all of those items fixed. Our final walkthrough will be on December 12th at 10am. We are then scheduled to sign our papers that afternoon. So, we are planning on getting our keys on the 12th!!!! We are all getting very excited that the day is getting closer. Craig and I are hoping to take the first few days to paint quite a few of the rooms before we move in furniture. As we like to have projects, Craig and I have already come up with some improvements we would like to make in the house. All of our bathrooms have white laminate countertops that don't look very good with the upgraded cabinets that we bought. So we have been scoping out some options. We are all looking forward to "Box Christmas" which is when we get to unpack all of our old stuff that will seem just like new.

I have joined a Mom's group called "Connect the Tots". I have been to one gathering with Morgan and then a Mom's night out. They do the Mom's night out once a month, and I am looking forward to that. We had a craft market at a downtown art gallery. Very high class.

Kaylee is doing well in school and is anxiosly awaiting her birthday next week. I can't believe that she is going to be six years old! Boy does that make me feel old. Morgan is starting to move around a bit. She is working on scooting on her bottom like Kaylee used to do. She thinks about getting on her hands and knees but the head is just too heavy. I am working on getting her therapy started so that she can get a stander. She is getting very heavy to carry. She is talking alot more now. She is copying most of the things that we say. She is putting together two words like "yellow car" and "thank you". I'll have to get some of that on video, but I'm sure that when I try she won't say anything. That is her new thing with the phone. She wants to talk, but then when you give her the phone she doesn't say anything. She just listens intently and smiles.

Pictures from trip to Cincinnati and to Columbia, SC to visit Anne, Chris & Sam Goodman.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Have fun shopping on Black Friday!!!!
